Our goal is to stick within your budget or come in under budget. Our job is to bring your vision to life. In addition to our package offerings, we can also help with floral design, decor rentals, linen rentals, and custom signage. We maintain an amazing network of vendors and are confident that with our resources, we can tackle just about any obstacle. Our team of planners have amazing attention to detail, and do everything possible to make your event perfectly eventful.

Over the past 19 years, as an award winning event and wedding planner, Marylee Marmer has planned both large-scale events for corporate clients as well as intimate social affairs. Her weddings have been featured on prestigious wedding blogs such as Honeysuckle Brides, Borrowed and Blue, Wedding Sparrow, Zola, The Lovely Find, Pretty Pear Bride, Rent My Wedding, Tidewater and Tulle, Richmond Weddings and many others. Marylee Marmer Events has won the The Knot Hall of Fame, The Best of Weddings by The Knot, Couple's Choice Award by WeddingWire, and multiple Nacey Awards.
She truly cares about each client and does everything to create the vision on their special day. She has done over 1,000 events and weddings over the years and happily keeps in contact with her past couples. She loves spending time with her two kids and loved ones, enjoying restaurants around Richmond, tasting wine, and helping the homeless in the community.

Rachel Phillips
Lead Planner
Since graduating with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and political science, Rachel fell in love with both the city (and her husband) while at VCU, and now has no plans to leave. She proudly wears the title of dog mom to her rescue pup, Addie, and will take any opportunity to share pictures and stories about her at brunch with her girlfriends, or exploring a new local spot with her husband, Loren.
After planning her own wedding, Rachel found herself missing wedding planning and joined Marylee Marmer Events late in 2022. As a newlywed herself, she understands the stressful parts of wedding planning and will do her best to ensure that all of your questions are answered and that your day turns out flawlessly. Her attention to detail, love of organization, and need for perfection makes her the ideal person to have in your corner on your wedding day. Her favorite part of the process is watching the couple enjoy their special day with each other and their guests after all of the hard work is over!
